REMOTE: Community Manager (Creative Marketing + Social Media Agency)

Flavor Group is hiring a Community Manager to join our creative, content and production agency. The Community Manager is responsible for aligning social media communications and marketing content to create a strong brand narrative and meaningful engagements for our clients’ social media accounts. This person will be the key point of contact for moderating and driving positive conversations by responding to and engaging with users who interact with our clients' profiles. This person should have experience in an agency making social channels for consumer brands with large followings.

The Community Manager will work with the Account Manager and Creative Teams to learn, execute, and enforce our guidelines for how we interact with customers on social, and will also look to inform future versions of our documentation and practices. This role will also produce insights, ideas, and opportunities out of conversations with owners, fans, and enthusiasts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Driving all social media communications in relation to customer experience and support.
  • Talk 1:1 with our clients’ customers and fans through their social media channels to encourage advocacy, reward loyalty, and drive positive sentiment.
  • Ownership and support of social media calendars.
  • Route / escalate appropriate user comments to legal and brand stakeholders per moderation guidelines.
  • Produce recurring reports on the health of social channels, trending conversations, and general sentiments to Account Managers and clients.
  • Work with Account Managers to brainstorm, formulate, and refine social content ideas for internal agency and client consideration.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant Community Management experience for brands.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Extremely strong writing skills, capable of taking on a voice / tone different than your own.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools such as Sked and project management tools such as Asana preferred,
  • Up-to-date on current trends and new opportunities for brands on social media.
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
  • Exceedingly positive attitude - the ability to turn a negative into a positive through effort and consideration.
  • Customer-focused, going above and beyond for customers at every opportunity.
  • Proven organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Available to perform responsibilities during weekends and normal working hours.
